Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using GoalGiver, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

How GoalGiver Works

GoalGiver is an accountability platform. You set a goal, define a check-in frequency, and stake a penalty amount per missed check-in. If you miss a check-in, the penalty is charged to your payment method and donated to the charity you selected.

A one-time $3 setup fee is charged when you create your first goal. This fee is non-refundable.

Payments and Penalties

By creating a goal with a penalty, you authorize GoalGiver to charge your payment method for each missed check-in at the amount you specified. Penalty charges are processed through Stripe and donated to your selected charity partner.

You may cancel an active goal at any time. Penalties already charged for missed check-ins are non-refundable as they have been or will be donated to charity.

Messaging

By providing your phone number and selecting a messaging channel, you consent to receiving daily motivation messages and check-in reminders via SMS or WhatsApp. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP or cancelling your goal.

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Limitation of Liability

GoalGiver is provided “as is.” We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including missed check-ins due to technical issues. We make reasonable efforts to ensure reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
